Rocky Mountain Inspiration

This Plein Air painting was done on the property of the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.  On vacation with my husband, he hiked the mountains while I stayed back and painted them.  Elk can be found grazing all over the property of the hotel and completely ignore the tourists watching and photographing them...and one painting them!
